Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger lavished praised on his under-strength side as they knocked out Real Madrid to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.He said after a goalless draw gave Arsenal a 1-0 aggregate win: "To play two games against Real and not concede a goal shows remarkable spirit.Wenger praised goalkeeper Jens Lehmann, who produced several fine saves to seal Arsenal's place in the last eight. He saved crucially from Raul and Wenger said: "One or two times we were lucky - and we needed that great save from Lehmann. The save was very important." Wenger admitted he was surprised to be the last Premiership team in the competition after the exit of Chelsea and Liverpool. Arsenal captain Thierry Henry added: "We are going through maybe not in the Arsenal way - but we are through. "It was a proper game. It had everything, a bit of tension at the end. It was not a boring 0-0. "We didn't concede a goal home or away against Real Madrid - that is something special." MAN OF THE MATCH: Cesc Fabregas. This young man has cone of age in the two ties against Real Madrid and he was exceptional in the Arsenal midfield against his superstar opponents. ARSENAL VERDICT: With Henry as their leader and a talented pack of terriers scrapping behind him, the Gunners may just be decent dark horses to go close to Champions League glory this season. They are certainly as good as the Liverpool side that lifted the trophy last May.

Well i must confess that i have never been a fan of the much adored "Goners" but nonetheless i really enjoyed the their last leg match against Real Madrid, the "Goners" perfomance was scintillating.May be it's the new crop of young players Wenger has been breeding.
Those young men earned my respect in that particular game may be its because i never liked Real Madrid because they remind me of the super eagles(wonderful names no team work or blend)but all i have to say is "Just watch out for the new improved MAN UTD!"
