My Letter to God...

Dear God,

Forgive me for all my faults

I know my sins could fill 10 vaults

All I did was for a reason

U gave us free will

So I chose to stay out of the moral prison

Forgive my loved ones and those that feel the same towards me

Those now in past, present, and to come after me

From my immediate to my

Extended family

From my mom to my sister

My father to my brother

From those i keep close

To those i keep closer

From days i obeyed my pop

To those I said 'No Sir'

I am willing to bleed

And take the fall

So in the future my soul can be

Happy and I can stand tall

My name shall rock the tongues of men from here on to Babylon

From Olumorock to Niagra falls

Then i will find peace wherever i lay

And hope dear Lord u put my soul to bay.

The Train Doors Open...

The train doors open and in swoops the different faces, people, races, religion or lack of it, languages, colors, lights;All of the lights...

The train doors open and I hear it... French, Arabic, Spanish, rap, rock, house, techno, mobile game sounds, Igbo, German, Accents, Russian,Yoruba, sports news, r&b, Chinese....

The train doors open in walks a woman with life beneath her belly;new life about 2 months shy of embracing this world, a man on d doors of death;time on d earth etched across his face...

The train doors open and SHE walks in beautiful, fair, dark ,mixed race, loud, sober, drunk, quiet, charming, inviting, annoying, fat, modeler, ugly, aged, checking me out, oblivious of my existence....

The train doors open and in HE rushes angry, delighted, tired, excited, nervous, jubilant, drunk, laughing with mates, deep in thought, listening to music, engrossed with his e-book.....

The train doors open and here I stand at the park, in school, few blocks from the club, across the theater, new city, same place, ready for church, wedding close-by, shops beckon, home calleth....

The train doors open I see my mates, my brother, my ex, my lover, my friend, , my fb crush, my professor, my cousin ,my twitter buddy...
